How does the MyParfuem ‘perfume designer system’ function?

Designing your own perfume on our website is very simple. First you choose a fragrance base. This determines the character of your perfume. Secondly, you then choose from 30 ingredients which you can freely combine, as well as determine the intensity of each ingredient. Let your imagination run free!  The system has been designed to recommend to you ingredients which fit together well, and conversely warns you if certain combinations don’t match.  We guarantee your satisfaction!  Should you not be pleased with your perfume, you can easily return it to get your money back.  Further information can be found here.

Can I return my perfume if I am not satisfied?

Do the perfumes always cost 29 euros?

Yes! Your perfume always costs 29 euros. The price is a fixed price independent of the number of ingredients and portion sizes that you choose for your perfume.

How many ingredients can I add?

Currently there are 8 fragrance bases and 30 different ingredients from which you can choose, to put together your individual perfume. Next to the fragrance base, you can add use up to 20 different ingredients. For each ingredient up to 3 portions can be added. In total 30 portions are possible.

How many possible combinations there are?

Currently MyParfuem offers eight (8) different fragrance bases as well as 30 different ingredients. Every ingredient can be mixed in three (3) intensity stages.  These different options lead can create 8 quadrillion possibilities!

Are quality ingredients used in the perfumes?

All materials used by us are of the highest quality.  We follow the production standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and declare the contents materials after classification system of the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI).  We cover all perfumes from our partner, one of the largest perfume producers in Germany which works according to the high-quality management system of ISO 9001 and also supplies large international perfume firms.

Can I request ingredients?

We are always in search of new ingredients!  Should you have a special wish, simply write us and we will attempt to get your requested ingredient.

2. QUESTIONS REGARDING GIFT VOUCHERS

Which value does the gift voucher have?

Gift vouchers are valid for the creation of a perfume.  Shipping rates are determined by the country where the voucher will be used.   As such, no extra costs will be accumulated by the person who is receiving your gift voucher.

Do you have for example a girlfriend in Spain? Then you pay only the costs for the perfume and the costs for postage to Spain. No extra costs accumulate for the sending of the voucher. Your girlfriend can design her perfume on our website and we’ll send directly to her.

Which payment possibilities are there?

We deliver world-wide!  Regardless of where you live on the planet, you can enjoy the thrill of designing your own perfume.

How much does the shipping cost?

Postal rates are dependent upon the destination, and are charged with the following rates

- Germany: 3,90 €

- European Union: 6,90 €

- World-wide: 9,90 €

How long will it take to receive my perfume?

Upon receipt of your payment, your perfume will be made right away and then shipped to you.  Depending on where in the world you live, you should expect to receive your perfume within the following time-frames:

- Germany: 3-4 working days

- Austria/Switzerland: 4-5 working days

- European Union: 5-10 working days

- Worldwide: 10-14 working days

Can I pick up my perfume in person?

Since we have a very strict quality assurance plan and in order to fully concentrate on production, we can not receive any customers at our office.

5. QUESTIONS REGARDING REGISTRATION AND DATA PROTECTION

Why must I choose a password?

A password is necessary so that you can login again on our website. In this way will have an overview of perfumes already created by you, as well as your ‘Shopping Basket’, address, etc.  Upon your next visit, you do not have to register yourself again, but simply login with your E-Mail Address and Password.

What happens with my data?

We take matters of data protection very seriously and strictly adhere to data protection laws. Your date, in no case whatsoever, are sold or passed on for other reasons to third parties.
